INTRODUCTION AND PLOT OF THREE MONKEY 

  Before the elections , aplicant senator Businessman Servet kills someone in a traffic accident. Then he offers his driver , who was not even in the car during the accident , a lot of to take the responsibility of the accident. After the driver’s  imprisonment Servet starts a relationship with his wife “Hacer” then the stiuations turn in to a family drama.

  The film based on the commonly known “three monkeys” stuff which means “no seeing , no hearing and no talking” . It interrogates that can no seeing , no hearing and no talking (acting like three monkeys) change the truth.

  The director Ceylan says “The film tells  a family which is separated by  little weaknesses and great lies and it’s members struggle to keep the family together by covering up the truths.

Nuri Bilge Ceylan was awarded as “The Best Director in Cannes Film Festival 2008”
